Adrian is an independent communication designer and academic based in Naarm / Melbourne, Australia.
With a practice spanning brand identity, creative direction, publication design, digital design and more, Adrian draws from traditional approaches and an informed understanding of art and design history to craft contemporary and adaptable creative outcomes. Paired with a strong passion for narratives and visual storytelling, his client work includes projects within hospitality, sport, architecture, agriculture, tourism, retail and select government work across Australia and Europe.
Alongside his creative practice Adrian was the co-founder and creative partner at Australian cycling collective Soup Athletica from 2013–2023. Since 2021 he has been the Group Senior Designer at the Scott Pickett Group.
Since 2019 he has been a lecturer within the Bachelor of Communication Design at RMIT University Melbourne. Utilising his studies and working background in design, photography and filmmaking he develops and holds courses on designing for social impact, colour and information design, and image making alongside studios concerned with speculative design, product design and placemaking. He was awarded the RMIT School of Design Teaching Award in 2022.
