His practice spans creative direction, and communication design across brand, print, digital, experience and object, drawing from an informed understanding of art and design history, rich storytelling, and blending traditional methods with contemporary tools. He has worked on projects across hospitality, cultural institutions, sport, architecture, agriculture, tourism, retail, lifestyle, and government sectors in Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe.
Alongside his design practice, Adrian was the co-founder and creative partner at Australian collective Soup Athletica from 2013–2024. He publishes writings centred on design, hospitality, food and connection through 1PAX, and develops design research projects and publications under Secondhand Journal. He holds an artistic practice, having exhibited in Australia and Europe, has works held in collections in North America, and has won national-level photography awards in Australia.
Since 2019 he has been a lecturer within the Bachelor of Communication Design at RMIT University Melbourne. He has also lectured in the Masters of Architecture program at University of Melbourne, and in Graphic Design at Accademia di Belle Arte Tiepolo in Udine. He was awarded the RMIT School of Design Teaching Award in 2022.
